It Snowed on the Mountain Last Night, Plus My Throat Is Sore... But Ku Ding Tea to the Rescue!
Well, it might have only sprinkled a little bit off and on last night, but there definitely was a smattering of snow fall up on the high parts of the mountains.
It’s nice to see snow on the mountains, but it probably won’t last. Snow is very important to keep the drought at bay, but with such a measly dusting, it’s not really going to help very much which is a little disappointing.
Last night, I felt a tinge of a sore throat coming on, and today it progressively got worse. With the weather report on the radio saying that it will get down in the 20s tonight, I had to make something to knock this sore throat out.
So I made some tea. It’s a bad picture, but it’s a bit of ginger that I boiled, and a Ku Ding pearl. I chickened our and added a couple teaspoons of fake sugar to tone down the bitterness of the Ku Ding. I didn’t feel like punishing myself further!
Ku Ding is like a secret medicine for me, but I don’t take it often enough or soon enough when I’m feeling sick. I think I always get a little apprehensive in the back of my mind because it can be SO BITTER at times, but it usually does the trick!
In fact, my throat is starting to feel better already... Now to get some food in my belly and hopefully some good rest tonight! 😊
