O Canada -- Greetings from Nelson BC, with Silver!
Hi folks! I'm road-trippin' with the fam through South Eastern British Columbia this weekend. We stayed in Osoyoos on Friday night, Nelson last night and tonight, then we're heading into the Slocan Valley for 1 night, then back to Osoyoos for a lay-over before heading back to the Coast.
We're having a great time and the car is running great :)

We got into Nelson and Wow!!! What a gorgeous lil mountain town with beaches on the lake!

Finished it off this evening with some fancy cocktails -- a bone broth Caesar garnished with a Viet spring roll...
And finally, a version of an Old Fashioned with Real Gold Leaf sprinkles :)
And good news too! I booked some work, so i'm back on set Thursday... hoot!!! Good times :)

I have a couple others i'll post tomo. I was just exploring and getting gas when i came upon tracks. Also, get this, there's a fucking money exchange in town that sells bullion!!! Our buddy who lives here is a jeweller and she buys 1ozers -- i'm going tomorrow 9am ;)

never heard of a bone broth ceasar is it like a bloody mary? that photo of the sunshine mint see through bar is wicked :)
A Caesar is akin to a bloody mary... it's a Canadian thing. Instead of Tomato juice we use "clamato" which is tomato with clam juice. Also, we add worchestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, usually salt and pepper in the drink (which is Vodka), and the celery salt the rim and put in a piece of celery, or a green bean or something. Lately in the last couple of years people have been adding on to the drinks (as shown above), and there are some bars downtown where you can get like an $75 Caesar that has a cheeseburger, mac n cheese and a bbq 1/2 chicken on it! These ones are crazy... but just a regular old Caesar is a hell of a hangover cure ;)
i thought you were joking about clamato juice so i had to look it up! I love a good Bloody Mary when the time is right, next time im definately going for a Bloody Ceasar they look Goood!! i do them exactly how you said but without the clam, it must be that magic ingredient ive been looking for, my top tip is use the heart of the celery :)
Some people use horseraddish in there too -- just a killer day drink ;)
The clam juice may sound gross, but wowee does it hit the spot!
