Chongming Island is located at the junction of the Yangtze River sediment discharge River, forming a huge beach around the island, the Chongming is richly endowed by nature.

 崇明岛地处江海交界之处，长江下泄泥沙在岛周围形成了巨大的滩涂，此为崇明得天独厚之处。
