I’m truly happy I got such a sharp photo of this flower the other evening. In fact I have a slight suspicion that this was ‘fixed’ without me even knowing ( a sort of stylised photo ? ). I just took the photo and was pleased with the overall result.

How Our Trip To Sigiriya Finally Ended!

It had been some time since we went on our last road trip, so we decided to go for another. Our friend Supun's wedding also fell on a Monday, so our initial plan was to go on a trip and on the last day participate in his wedding. The reception was to be held in Kegalle, so we planned to visit closer to Kegalle.

Dear mama, You know I avoid physical touches when it comes to showing affection. You know when the rest of my brothers run to hug you on birthdays or on happy occasions, I stay at end of the line standing in an awkward position. You know that I don't randomly show gestures of love where on the other hand my elder brother brings you gifts every now and then. I just can't do it.

Trip to Slovak opal mines

I like to visit interesting places where I haven't been before, so I came up with another educational and experiential trip to eastern Slovakia for myself and my friends. Despite the fact that the weather is supposed to be nice and sunny, we will hide underground from the sun. We will go underground, to once famous and later forgotten mines, where miners mined rare opal for many years.
