I learned something new about Butterflies that I would like to share with you...

One of their favorite ways to relax & power up is through a ritual called "puddling."
♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥
♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥
They gather along wet sand (and mud) to partake in the drinking of water and extracting of minerals.

I am very impressed with the magnificence of Butterflies. It always brings a smile to my face seeing them..

If we are paying attention, and open to receiving, we will witness that there truly is always some wisdom and love being offered to us!

I learned something new. I see both butterflies and moths "puddling" on the dirt road near to where I live after it rains. There are no streams or ponds or anything like that near me, but after it rains the butterflies will sometimes flock to the puddles and wet dirt. It's a beautiful sight.

That is awesome @weq :) I imagine that you see even more butterflies congregating than I do, being that there are less watering-hole opportunities for these beauty-full beings <3
Now that I am aware of their ritual, I am going to create some spaces here in the forest for them to puddle & power up :)

Very Nice. I had the pleasure of going to see the live butterfly display at the British Museum a few weeks ago. Really interesting.
