Crusing Home From The Adelaide Steemit Meetup
Well last night was another awesome night.
I do enjoy catching up with our fellow Steemians here in Adelaide. I find we are a very like minded groups of people who are all very friendly and great to talk to.
It's great because we all have varying skill sets and knowledge, so I always leave a meet up with new ideas and always learn something new.
If was interesting talking about Steemit and some of the good and the bad which has come out of the platform.
This was the first time I have actually had a meal at The Jade and the food there was really good, I hoovered down my hamburger like I hadn't eaten all week and those sweet potato chips were really nice and something completely different.
Had a really great night as always.
A special thanks to @mattclarke for his efforts with our meetup, and his generosity shouting drinks for the evening. Although I'm not a drinker I appreciate the kind gesture :)
I filmed the ride home, my first time filming riding at night. I also got a waterproof case which seemed to really cut out a lot of the noise. Not sure if I like it though as it cuts out all noise, so I have to crank up the volume a bit and it's still quite.
I think when filming my rides I will stick with my old method, as I seem to have that sorted nicely now by covering mic holes and using a low pass filter to cut out wind noise.
Might also start adding audio, which always makes it better :)
I know all these roads! Good to see you again, dude!
Thanks for your comments mr @holoz0r
My wife bought me a go pro for my birthday last year... I still haven't used it to record a ride yet, will have to do it soon!
Good to hear your tips, mine is the waterproof model, but the wind sound I hadn't even thought about.
My kids were using the go pro at the beach, and sand managed to get inside it everywhere... I was really concerned it would dammage the internals, I had to blow it all out and get a light brush to remove some of the sand. But 4 months later.... Still no issues.
It would be good to see some rides of I think u were in Thailand? Can't remembers now.
Yeah I got the hero 4 session, it's waterproof but the wind is a real problem.
Premier Pro has some things to help like low pass filter.
Cambodia, but yeah, the roads are nothing like back home... Lol
Is premier pro just an app to download? Or is it another add on?
Ever since I've seen those gimbles... I've wanted to get one, they look amazing.
Bummer you didn't like the waterproof door, sounds like you've done enough experimentation to get to something you like though!
sir @thevillan, in fact, many new things can be learned by associating with many people. It really feels good to be with many people. You are great sir. Keep sharing your skill. Best of luck sir.
I must say that really nice and something completely different for your post mr @thevillan...
