You’ve heard it more than once; they say there is no time like the present. Yet no one has really ever explained why this is. So if you will, I’ll do my best here and now.

Time consists of three very unique, yet familiar energies. You can directly experience these energies by entering states of remembrance, presence, and contemplation.
When speaking of an event that has previously occurred, we call that the past. It does not exist now, for it has already happened. Yet in the dimension of mind, it shall always exist for as long as we can remember it. The past is a cruel mistress in that way, and were it not for tools by which we could record and store these events; all would have been lost long ago.
Presence, the second of these mystical energies, is where the magic is. For now is the place, where both the past, future, and present coexist as one. It is both the alpha, and omega of every single event that has, or ever will happen in your life. You will experience the beginning, middle, and end of every happening in a single ever elusive moment called the present, which is the most important gift that life has to offer.
Finally, through the act of creative contemplation we can grasp at the future for just long enough to chart a course. It’s a bit like psychic GPS, it’ll get us there eventually, but until we’re there, there’s no there there. This spectacular ability will flower outward in the mind’s eye, a myriad of potentialities, one being just as true as the next. Yet, no single one of these paths will be simple, and all of them are fated to inevitable change, and still somehow, in some way, we manage to make do.
In the dimension of mind we are all time travelers. Yet blessed be the ones who have the ability to set themselves in the now. For in the past lie regret, and in the future, desire. They both induce pain, but contentment is here for you now, the one and only place that is truth.
Abandon ye all hope, and let the history melt away, for all we are truly given, is today, today. – thoughts-in-time 01/05/18
Hello, I am thoughts-in-time, and this is my belated introduction post. Thanks for giving it a read, and if this message resonates with you:

Cool Stuff! Are this originally your thoughts?
Hello @sniffbiff, thanks for dropping by! Most of my thoughts are inspired by topics that better people have already thought about. The ones that resonate, I’ve adopted as my own and practice viewing them at different angles, and seeing how they can interconnect, or maybe even completely contradict one another. For example; ideas dealing with presence have been waxed philosophical throughout the ages by spiritual leaders, eastern mystics, and even more recently by western authors. For this post, I’ve drawn inspiration from various sources, people like Eckhart Tolle, OSHO, and some Zen Kōans. I’m sure there are many other inspirations that I’ve forgotten to mention, but those are just a few that stick out in my mind. I think that most of the ideas that people have are a conglomeration of life experiences, and the things that we’ve come to hold true in either our hearts, or minds.
Awesome introduction welcome tot steemit. Best of luck and wishing you all the best! ;)

Be strong, believe in freedom and in God, love yourself, understand your sexuality, have a sense of humor, masturbate, don't judge people by their religion, color or sexual habits, love life and your family.
I've learned that fear limits you and your vision. It serves as blinders to what may be just a few steps down the road for you. The journey is valuable, but believing in your talents, your abilities, and your self-worth can empower you to walk down an even brighter path. Transforming fear into freedom - how great is that?
Makeup is no different than clothes and accessories - it's embellishments for your face. And it also gives you creative freedom. You get to have that moment in front the mirror every morning and give yourself self-love. You're making yourself up beautiful, which is essentially self-love.
