Hello everyone, I want to share with you the investment that has changed my finances and this post is an entry to the contest organized by @fredquantum.

WHAT IS INVESTMENT?

Investment is the act of putting money in to something with the intension of gaining profit in the future.

THE OF THE INVESTMENT I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED

I was introduced to this investment by a course mate of mine about seven months ago. She was making money from it though and I testified to it. This investment was called # LIKE #.

How this investment worked was that, you will be given a link to a particular Tiktok video when you visit their site were you will just click on the like button and earn. It had levels from level zero to level five and the higher your level the more earning you will get. Each level had its total number of slots to exhaust which recharges on daily bases.

This like investment belonged to the crypto currency sector because payments were always in USDT which you will then transfer to any exchange platform for conversion. I can also say it also belonged to the dishonest scheme sector because the person who introduce you to the investment has a share in every amount that you make and also because of how it ended which I will be telling you shortly.

WHAT IS THE OUTCOME OF THE INVESTMENT

When I first joined this like investment, I was in level zero and I had made some amount of USDT from it but i could only withdraw it if only I increase my rank or level. I was desperate to make lot of money within a short time that I couldn't see the risk of that investment. Well I bought some USDT from Binance which cost me 1,350 Ghana Cedis, (this is a lot of money) and upgraded to level three.

I didn't withdraw the amount of USDT that was already on my like account that day, it was the next day after I upgraded to level three that after completing the task for that day that I decided to withdraw what I have earned from my investment. I tried withdrawing in the morning and it was not working and I thought it is probably the network, tried again after sometime and it was still the same so I called the person who introduced it to me and told her what is happening, it was then she also tried withdrawing from her account and she was also having the same issues. It was that time I realized that they have collapsed the investment site and went off with all my money. In all it was a total lost on my side and this is why I said it is also a dishonest scheme and a scam.

AM I STILL LIVING ON THE EFFECT OF THE INVESTMENT?

This is a big yes, from that very day I invested that money till date, I have been living on the negative effect of that decision I made on that very day. That money that I was to make the investment was the my father gave to me to pay my this year's school fees. It was in 2021 that I made that investment and that money was supposed to be my 2022 school fees. I couldn't tell my Dad what happened to the money but to give him stories which were definitely nowhere near the truth because I would have been a dead person if the truth had been revealed or is revealed.

My Dad had to toil for some money again so that I could pay then fees that was in January. Well, I did payed the fees but I have lost the trust from my Dad in terms of money, I can not ask him for money again even if I really need it and am now suffering even though, he still provides for me but not as compared to before I made that investment.

AM I WILLING TO GO INTO ANOTHER INVESTMENT?

As an old saying goes, because death is a twin brother of sleep can not prevent human from sleeping even if they don't want to sleep. I have fallen but it can't stop me from rising up again, I am interested in investing in to crypto currency sooner or later. But am currently investing in steemit, I have invested some amount of money to buy steem and power up since curations on most of my contents have not been encouraging, I have also invested my time in to steemit in other to write quality articles so that if I earn some amount from here together with other source, I will start the crypto currency investment by the end of this year.

Before you make an investment, irrespective of its sector, do a background check on such investment like what are the possible risks that may occur and put in measures to care for those risks if they do occur.

Never let a set back prevent you from trying again cause you never know how close you are to success and always have a goal and positive mind set in everything you do.
