Urban legends abound about Old Town San Diego and it's surrounding Areas

The Cosmopolitan Hotel is no exception. This wooden structure stands on a site of Casa Bandini. Don Juan Bandini was a wealthy socialite with three beautiful daughters. The Bandini family hosted days long parties and had a hand in affairs of social standing and politics alike.

Many tales of hauntings surround Old Town (most unconfirmed). The Cosmopolitan is no exception. Various seekers of the supernatural have experienced electronic voice phenomena, flickering lights and other signs that the spirit of Ysabel Bandini still occupies room 11 of the historic hotel.

None of the hotel rooms contain televisions, so a ghostly encounter may be your best chance at nightly entertainment. Would you be brave enough to stay?
