Try not to be discouraged. I post 4-10 times a day, maybe one gets a few upvotes. I have almost 100 followers. I comment 20+ times a day, around 5 get upvotes and I usually "strike gold" with one $10+ upvote somewhere.

I slowly increase my goals and keep interacting with the community.

In 7 days I have made about $100 on the platform working about 5 hours a day on Steemit. As my reputation and Steem power increase so will my revenue. Same for you. Post what you love, keep posting, comment, interact with others, follow people, and talk about things that the people who you leave comments for talk about.

It's a little slow going, but you'll start gaining viewers and upvotes.
