Promoting Telegram App to the Nigerian populace

Introduction

My name is Taiwo Daniel, a regular contributor on utopian.io. I have promoted a few open source projects via my Facebook account which of course is a valid medium of open source promotion on utopian.

I created a Facebook Page dedicated to promotion of open source projects here and my focus/target location has been my country Nigeria. Nigerians are quick learners and they catch up easily when its a matter of social media platforms. Notwithstanding, I promoted Telegram which is undoubtedly the best chatting app on my Facebook account here.

Nigerians make use of chatting apps very well so I decided to promote Telegram as a new app to them.

Audience

My audience are Nigerians
I didn't chose a particular state but I decided to promote it to the West African country
Target location=> Nigeria
Age range =>13 to 65+
Gender=> Both Male and Female (All gender can make use of the app without biasness)

Activity

During the process of this campaign, the ad generated over 7k audience, it had a potential of 42,000 people but ad was paused on to reaching an excess of 7600 people, higher than the specified 5,000 mandatory 5,000 audience. It had a minimum number of likes, further inquiries will be handled by me as the page owner. I created a tab for "Contact us" on the page.

Audience => 7600+

Likes=> 20+

Web clicks=> 9

Engagements=> 23
