I am a fan of this thirllled movie. I'm absolutely sure that Rick wouldn't be dead because of he is the hero in this movie. In my opinion Rick and Maggie would be escaped and safe somewhere. In the meanwhile there would be other actors fighting with zombies and for their survival.
I agree with that, I think they would come out of nowhere at the new season and we would have to wait for months! :D
