Syria Update, Reports Of Israeli Attacks On Iran, Trump To Rejoin TPP & YouTube Losing To Blockchain
Welcome to The Daily Wrap Up, a concise show dedicated to bringing you the most relevant independent news, as we see it, from the last 24 hours (4/14/18).
Just as I expected, and just as I stated in numerous recent videos, we have seemingly jumped right past the evidence stage and went right to military action, and now all the rhetoric is about how chemical weapons are bad and if Assad does it again,"The US is locked and loaded." All this with no proof Assad is even behind these chemical attacks or even if they took place to begin with. Both the US and France refuse to show the supposed “proof” they claim to have, all while Russia has shown its evidence, and revealed its interviews with doctors inside the only hospital on the ground in Douma, and how those doctors have not seen a single body and have seen no sign of a chemical attack.
And today, Everyone seems to be in damage control, where as Syria and Russia are doing their best to project strength and show how the US attacks were inconsequential, saying they stopped 71 of 103 missiles, the US is waving its Mission Accomplished flag as usual, and claiming that they hit every target and that not a shot was missed. NATO even had the gall to state today that "every member of NATO was behind this attack” ... except that they weren’t, as both Germany and Italy openly said they were against the strikes on Syria and refused to take part.
After such a major escalation, it is important to reiterate one of the most important points in all of this; one that is valuable because it is easily researchable. Despite government claims to the contrary, the recent attack on Syria was in fact an illegal strike, even under article 2 of the Constitution, as that only applies to a military act in defense of the nation. And by no stretch of the imagination was Friday's attack a defensive measure.
More importantly, the UN refused to pass any resolution allowing these attacks, so this was indisputably illegal from an international stand point. If any nation not bending to the will of the US empire had done as much, every mainstream western news station would have been crying foul, and you can bet that aggressive and immediate action would have been taken. Yet I guess these laws do not apply to the US. Hypocrisy at it finest, or maybe at its worst.
And now that the US carried out airstrikes, take a guess what likely cannot happen ... investigation of the very areas that could have revealed the truth about the alleged chemical attack. The OPCW arrived in Damascus on Saturday, and we will see if they are able to get anything definitive from their investigation after the UK, US and France chose to bomb what they claimed was the crime scene. It is certainly interesting how this all happened, while they knew the OPCW was literally on their way in order to determine if a chemical attack had even taken place. Seems rather suspiciously timed.

It feels like everyone in the real world knows Assad didn't do this, but then you turn on the tv and they won't even entertain the idea. Its outrageous they won't even mention that Assad didn't commit the last two attacks. I've heard several times the talking heads say for fact he was responsible for the one last year even though the UN and US both admit they have no evidence of that. Lies lies lies! The media is just a huge speaker for Washingtons war drums!
Completely agree. And I often ask myself if this is just them presenting the false majority (http://www.thelastamericanvagabond.com/top-news/false-majority-lie-tell-america/) and that in truth, most already see this for what it is. But those still caught up in the lies, just speak the loudest, while much of rest stay quiet for fear of being cast out, still falsely believing they are part of the minority, when that may not be the case at all. As Bertrand Russell said, "The problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, while wiser people so full of doubts."
