Diary Game: Traveling To The Northern Part Of My Country

Today is another blessed day filled with joy and happiness , I will be sharing to my steemit friends on Traveling steem my journey to the northern part of my country (Plateaus state, Nigeria) .

My dream on Traveling to the Northern part of Nigeria began on October 2023 but due to I was out of money and my phine was just stolen so i was totally fowb and out of cash . My purpose of traveling is to go stay with my family relatives abd get to know more about plateau as a state in Nigeria.

So as my phone was stolen my dream was shattered and this ruined everything for me so I decided to fixed another date to my relatives, I didn't actually gave tgen a fix date but i was hoping that before my birthday which is on coming(1st May) that I may probably be in Jos (plateau state).

So as we enjoyed the new year period and finishedI got my self a new phone so it was remaining for me to gather up some fund for my transport fare. After some month passed my cousin relative called me and ask if I'm not still coming again to Jos, I told him that my transport fare is not complete, thankfully he decided to sponsor me on the transport(with the some of 25,500naira)

He transfered the money to my account on a faithful Monday 8 April 2024. I started making preparation to join night bus on Tuesday cause night bus is always cool by me before that I've already informed my parent about my trip,so on Tuesday evening I went to the park accompany with one of my steemit friend @jozzie90.

Thinking that there will be night bus but unfortunately the transport transit company told me that no transport company is always going to the northern part of the country again on night bus due to how rough the northern part is . So the booker at the park asked me to come back the following day (she told me to come back as early as 6am in the morning.

From the park I went back home with my luggage and relaxed for the following morning cause I will be waking up so early making preparation for my journey. Fortunately I woke up around 4am in the morning makiny preparation , all thanks to God for making me see Wednesday 10 April 2024. So I had to rushed to the bathroom and bath and warm the left over food in the kitchen,so that I will be heading to the park as soon as possible.

After I was done with the preparation I prayed to God for a safe journey for my self as i was done with the prayer I called my friend @jozzie90 on phone to come accompany me to the AKTC park . As @jozzie90 arrived ,he accompanied me to the park ,As we reaced the park we hurried up to the reception to buy ticket and after i had successfully buying the ticket I was then waiting for the loader to load other passengers luggage and load

unfortunately @jozzie90 didn't wait to see me leaving the park cause he wasn't feeling to well so he had to rush back home and take care of himself , He really had tried for me that day even though he wasn't feeling too well he had to sacrificed his self to come accompanied me to the park ,that was very appreciating from him.

As the loader finished loading all passenger luggage,then passenger entered the bus waiting for the driver to come start up the vehicle heading to our destination so as we where waiting for the driver one passenger start to lead us on worship and prayer concerning our journey. As we where praying the driver came alongside and start the bus 🚐 and where on the road to Jos.

On the road all passenger where just gisting and having fun,all thanks to God we left the Akwa Ibom border entering the Abia state and it was so soon cause the driver was a bit quicker and well experienced,so from Abia state we entered Enugu, then Enugu was a bit far to Benue state, it was about 4hrs to Benue state,as we entered Benue state we had to rest at one filling station where our native food is been sold,though I saw hell due to bad road and gallops on Benue state road ,we took about 7hrs to reach the Lafia which is the capital of Nasarawa state from Lafia we entered Nasarawa.

When we reached Nasarawa about 10pm so the driver had to stop the journey for the next day cause the northern part of my country is very rough full of bandit,terrorist,kidnappers etc. At the filling station we spend our night over I had to use the opportunity to charge my phone cause it was totally down. And the filling station was still busy full of cyclist and motorist till 4am we left the park and things where still new to me cause the environment was starting to change and there was cold unlike the southern Nigeria.

We left the filling station heading to the Kaduna state and surprisingly the Kaduna state was full of rock and Sahara.

After all the stress on the road we entered plateau state and i was so happy I quickly called my cousin to come wait me in the park that we have entered plateau state , Not quite long(about 2hrs)we reached our state branch park at taminus Jos North close to plateau riders park Jos North ,so as I stepped out from the bus my cousin was already waiting for me and he ran to me hugging me ,he was so so shocked that he's junior cousin is taller than by far.

And he took to the homeas I reached their house I glofied God for a journey mercies . As enter the house my aunty and uncle were so marvelled to see me after 4yrs when we were at Lagos and I was shown the way to the bathroom to freshen up and after I've finished bathing i was served a delicious meal and after that I called my parent and my friends at Akwa Ibom to gist them about the journey.

But now im getting to miss my friends at Akwa Ibom,the likes of @jozzie90 who played a role of a good friend and a brother in my life,@preshy001,@jeph001,@tripsy,@spidy
