Gratitude Day 44/62: Opportunities
Today I made a huge bet. The type that I have never taken before. Although I'm lying on my couch and lazily writing this blog post, I still feel that rush of adrenaline as if I'm doing a 100m dash. This is not the first time I'm doing something like this but this time I raised the bar a little. My life has been a very adventure-filled life. I've taken life-changing risks. Most times I'm living on the edge. I have a goal and target in my heart and when I see an opportunity that may be good, I go all in.
Opportunities are everywhere, most times they come dressed up as challenges, difficulties or work. Other times they come dressed up as gifts and things that may sound too good to be true. I've learned to keep an open mind. Sometimes when things appear to be too good to be true, they are most certainly true.

I'm a junkie for risks and exploiting opportunities. I am like this because this is one of the attitudes that helped me get to where I am today. I started from below zero. I know what it feels like to suck. I know what it feels like to have nothing, to feel poor and not have enough. The memories are fresh on my head. I'm grateful for these memories, whenever I want to go off course or do something stupid, I remember the hunger pangs and that makes me behave.
The journey to success is a race. Life is a wheel in constant motion. If you are not pursuing success or purpose or aiming for a goal, you should know that failure is right behind you racing towards you. You have to move. It's either you are chasing something or running away from something. I don't want to go back to rock bottom, so I press on. Sometimes deep down, I notice that I do not crave success as much as I detest failure.
I want to say a special thank you to all who have been following me and participating in the challenge. I want to encourage you to keep participating. I love to read your stories. I hve intentionally stop tagging everyone. It doesn't mean that I don't acknowledge you. You are awesome.
