My Contribution to the Steem Blockchain
Meetups and Presentations
SIN 1
The very first meet-up I attended was the Steemit in Nigeria Meet-up organized by @ehiboss. I went there as a guest but I was soon called up to give a presentation on blockchain because they knew that I was knowledgeable on the topic and because I offered to help. I also helped to facilitate the Q and A session along side @fisteganos and @ehiboss.
My First Steem Presentation in Ibadan
The very first presentation I did about Steem is duly recorded in this link. I made a presentation to a group of business people and entrepreneurs about the potentials of the Steem blockchain. Special thanks to @officialebahi for giving me the opportunity make this presentation. She facillitated the event.
You can watch videos of my presentation in the following youtube links
That was the beginning of my Steem Ambassador journey. From that day on, I went about promoting Steem and Organizing Steem Events.
Steem Ibadan Meet-up 1
There were not many Steemians in the city when I started promoting Steem and Steemit. The very first meet-up comprised of just four individuals. The country just came out of recession and a Ponzi scheme had left a lot of people in agony. People had developed a very unhealthy paranoia for online businesses/opportunities.
Steem Ibadan Meet-up 2
By the time we organized the Second meetup in Ibadan, a few people were now believing the ideas of the steem blockchain. A lot of people were inspired by the presentations made at that meet-up. The people that presented include @ejemai, @gbenga, @thelovejunkie, e.t.c.
Steem Presentation at Cryptohub Meet-up
I've made presentations to many cryptocurrency groups and Cryptohub is one of my favorite cryptocurrency community here in Nigeria. Cryptohub is a budding consortium for cryptocurrency education and investment. My presentation at Cryptohub created a lot of visibility for the Steem Blockchain.
You can watch the videos of my presentation in the youtube links below
Uyo Meet-up
I've traveled long distances within the country to attend meet-ups where I encouraged and inspired fellow Steemians and provided them with the knowledge that I've been able to gather. Click on this link to view my contribution to the Steem Uyo Meet-up.
Got 117 Steemians to the Blockchain in One Hour
There was a time that I got 117 Steemians into the Steem Blockchain in One hour. Click on this link to see how I did it. It was at this point that people became fully aware of what Steem stood for. There was hardly any cryptocurrency enthusiast who was unaware of the specialness of the Steem blockchain.
Steem Presentation at Night
I know you have seen a lot of meet-ups and presentations but have you seen a Steem meet-up in a forest at night? Lol... I guess not!
You can view the report of that nightly meet-up here.
You can watch a video of my presentation by clicking on the youtube link below.
Delta Christmas Special
During the yuletide of 2017, I partnered with @destinysaid and organized a Christmas giveaway and meet-up in Delta State. The goal was to bootstrap a Steem community in Delta State. At the time we organized this event, nobody knew about Steem/Steemit in the State. This singular event went down in history as the event that ignited the fires of people's enthusiasm in Delta State and actually proved to them that Steemit is real.
It was part of our contribution to #project20millionnaija
We gave free wifi and launch to people within the mall. It was a remarkable event and a wonderful way to end the year.
Presentation at Cryptocurrency Africa
I was invited to Cryptocurrency Africa, a cryptocurrency organization that aims at providing education on blockchain technology for Africans to give a presentation on Steem and Steemit. I traveled a long distance to attend this meet-up. But it was well worth it because of I made some impact on the dash community in Delta State.
Meet-up in Ghana(an International Assignment)
I've traveled far and wide promoting Steemit. My first trip beyond the walls of Nigeria was because of Steemit. I was invited by a fellow Steemian (@tj4real) to make a Steem Presentation. I went with the @stach crew and together we brought the love and Steem to our brothers in the Goldcoast(Ghana)
You can view a report of my contribution to that meet-up by clicking on this link.
Enugu Meet-up
I was invited to the Steem Meet-up in Enugu in the month of february 2017 to give a presentation on Steemit.
You can watch a short clip of my presentation in the Dtube link below.
Ibadan Meet-up
This is the latest offline event I organized in Ibadan. I partnered with @fisteganos and an amazing team of over 20 individuals to pull this off. The turnout was amazing. We had over 200 Steemians in attendance. Just last year the population of people in attendance for the Steem Ibadan Meet-up was four(4).
Click on this link to read the official report. The community here in Ibadan has really grown and I am really happy and proud to have contributed to its growth.
You can watch the video clips of this event by clicking on the following Dtube links
I've decided to add a Picture Montage of the event for the sake of your entertainment and viewing pleasure.
Whenever I promote Steem, in my heart, I feel like a freedom fighter.

Mobile Phone Tutorials for Newbies
I started my Steemit journey quite early. There was a time when there were very few youtube videos on Steemit. I noticed that most people from my country logged into Steemit from their mobile phones and a lot of newbies had a lot of difficulties navigating the site/starting out and that is why I decided to do a mobile phone tutorial series for newbies.
You can click on this youtube link to view these tutorials.

Sundayselfies
Last year I observed a common problem in the community. It was that people didn't want to use their real identities and the level of interaction was really low. There was a lot of spam too. My contribution to tackling this problem was to organize a weekly selfie challenge/giveaway in which I basically encouraged people to show love, give and socialize. I have taken the liberty to include the links to my previous selfie contests in this application.
I have also sponsored people to meet-ups and organized meetups contests.
I love selfies.
Why I want to become a Steem Ambassador/ Why I Promote Steemit
This is what I already do. Even before this application, people call me the Steem ambassador. I do it because it is my passion. I love marketing, selling and when you have a good product like the Steem blockchain. Utopia!
I have ample knowledge about Steem/Steem Applications and Cryptocurrencies in general.
I have a passion to teach and educate people, to share my knowledge with them.
I have the experience and skill in organizing Steem events and bootstrapping Steem communities.
This is my job. My source of livelihood.
My future Plans as a Steem Ambassador
- Attend more seminars and meet-ups to promote Steem and the Steem Blockchain.
I have already been invited to a blockchain center event. You can view the details in the flyer below.
This event is a rather prestigious event and I plan to go there to promote Steem and get more investors and entrepreneurs to our blockchain.
I've also been invited to two Steem Meetups this month and one next month. It's part of my duty to travel around the country to attend these meetups. To encourage inspire and teach fellow members of our community.
The two Steem events happening this month are the Steem meetups happening in Port-Harcourt and Owerri on the 17th and 24th of this March respectively.
Organise more Steem Meet-ups and Seminars
Create a Steem Education Center/ Steem Academy in partnership with STACH.
Do charity events to promote Steem.
Do other offline and online events to promote Steem.
My Beliefs
The humans of Steem are more important than Steem.
I believe that people are important and technology and innovation should be to the service of humanity
There is no virtue in poverty, ignorance, and fear!
I believe that people should be free and there is no freedom without economic freedom. As long as we are bounded by the shackles of a centralized and a defective system, people will remain, well, bounded. Are decentralized systems perfect? No sir! but for the first time, we have a choice! One can choose to embrace the future, to strategically position one's self in the wake of a new financial era or go with the old system.
I want people to know what is happening in the world so that they will be equipped with the knowledge to make the right choices.
I believe in a free and fair world. I believe in non-violence. I believe in freedom. That is why I feel like a freedom fighter when promoting Steemit.
I believe that we can use this tool, this free market solution we all share to secure life, liberty, and property. We can change the world. We can make it a better place.

Thank you.
As a recent Steemian who has grown to become engrossed with the activities of and workings of the Steem Blockchain, I boldly support and approve the application of @tojukaka as #SteemAmbassador for Nigeria.
Welcome to Steemit, I'm here to give you a vote on your very first comment! Great job engaging with the community!
Sir. If no one else believes in you, just be assured that people who has benefitted from your steem talks alone like me strongly believe in you. I remember it was your presentation that I love the most at the Ibadan meet up on 24th
Seriously, I thought you were a steem ambassador already. Why did it take you this long to become one?
I just love the way you arrange your posts and presentations. I've had the opportunity to meet you once. I hope to meet you once again.
Let me know if you're a witness, so I can vote you.
Thank you for supporting this community while fighting for the phrase "There is no virtue in poverty, ignorance, and fear!"
Please accept my humble vote.
thanks for the promo steemit i am very supportive about steemit
There is no doubt you deserved to be picked as Steem Ambassador. You are so equipped for the task and role by virtue and substance. You are not only an amazing human being, but you have been such a great person, with depth and knowledge on this blockchain. I have learned so much from you, and i know, that is just a tiny drop in the ocean of knowledge you can still offer to everyone. You never shy away from helping, you never shy away from teaching people. I have never seen you turn down an opportunity to talk about steemit/steem, and the passion at which you dispatch the topics, is so commendable. You always do everything for this platform with every sense of sacrifice. You do it as if it was easy. Only you can do what you do. I salute your sacrifice, your passion, and indepth knowledge. I also salute the human side of you. Yes, you deserve that title we always call you; "Steem Ambassador". It should become a reality because we have prophesied it. I am rooting for you all the way, brother.

Steemit Nigeria must be. Thanks for being our forebearer.
You have been an exemplary leader, you deserve this. Thanks for all you do for the community.
@tojukaka is a worthy warrior to be considered with the honour of steem/it ambassador. He has be able bring in different people from different background into the belief of tolerating each other just like the establishing of the #IbadanSteemit whatsapp group. He has gently made himself available to all member that wishes to get clarification on any steemit related issue. I believe if his application is favourably consider he will certainly spread the good news of steemit more to the general population.
He wears the gentle smile always.
Steemit is certainly going to see the impact of @tojukaka when selected as an ambassador.
To be honest, you're the reason I started taking Steemit seriously. I had registered since October last year but it was my meeting you in Ibadan that made me curious about Steemit. You have my support already
Plus, you (by my theft) gave me my first upvote - $0.20.
🏃🏃🏃🏃
Blessings
Haa, if I don't support you then I will be ungrateful. You brought this close to us. You have all my support boss
