The season had begun again, Billy felt revitalized. Nothing for the pure air of a baseball field. Nothing like the World Series.

And it was that it was not like when I was a rookie, no, these were the Big Leagues, actually the post season, but the estusiamos was still the same.

Or that would be if it were not for Richard.

Just thinking about him was stirring Billy's stomach.

The perfect, charismatic and best hitter Richard. A. J.

A cretin that always smiles that captured all the attention of the game. For Billy, he was just a petulant idiot. A petulant idiot who was very good at baseball.

Too good.

He still doesn't remember well how that idiot came to the team, although last year was very diffuse, after The Houston Astros won their first championship against the The Angeles Dodgers barely had time to breathe.

The whole year was summed up in practice to not decay and at some point he doesn't even remember, since Richard was on the team and was the main hitter.

But Billy knew that Richard was hiding something and he would discover it.

His plan wasn`t the best of the best but gave good results. He take advantage of some of the workouts and threw a curved ball in the direction of Richard's knee. Yes, Billy didn't know the meaning of subtlety.

He earned a good boo from his team and a magnificent scolding from his coach for injuring his best player.

"I'm sure it's nothing serious, I'll be fine"

Billy yes that hated Richard. There he was making himself strong.

After running for two hours straight as punishment, he went to pick up the equipment and store it in the warehouse. It was already dark and all his companions should be sleeping or preparing for that.

He was surprised to see the light of the store turned on, he opened the door stealthily, only Billy knew how to do it - that is, stamping it against the wall. Nothing would have prepared him for what he saw inside.

"I knew you couldn't be human but I thought it was just my imagination" - Whatever Richard was doing to his robotic knee stopped when he heard his voice.

"God ... Of all the world you had to be you who discovered me" - Richard looked miserable.

"So you are a robot" - Ready, now he could get rid of Richard and his maniacal smile.

"Don't even think about telling this" - Richard no longer acted like the cheerful one of before, now he was more mechanical.

"And what if I do it? Maybe they even create a new Brush rule that they can't play robots" - His smile kept growing.

"Sure, do it and we will be decalified." - Richard was still working on his knee and Billy was having a moral crisis.

"But you cheat"

"I'll make them win" - That comment offended Billy very internally.

"I remind you that last year we won and you weren´t on the team" - Richard just started to laugh.

"Really? 4-3 is not winning, it's luck, without me the team is lost" - So now Richard was showing his true colors.

"I'll tell the coach" - Billy was about to leave.

"He already knows idiot, he was the one who included me in the team."

Okay, that wasn't expected. This went beyond what he thought.

"You can't say anything Billy, you hurt me and you damage the team" - The security in Richard terrified him.

"I hate you"

"I know, but let's give our best effort this season" - And there was old Richard again, all nice smiles. Billy couldn't decide which one he hated the most.

Angry he left, but he also had in mind to train and train. Become the best.

Billy James would show the world how far he could go.

The coach would regret having played a robot, because Billy would be much better than him.

It would be the best baseball player being a human being, because robots don't know about motivation.

PD: This is for the 24 hours contest, I don't know how terrible this is, I don't know anything about baseball u.u
