Family Friendly Exploring of Australian Outback - Intro

in #travel7 years ago

I'm sad to say that our family adventure came to an end, as usual time goes a lot quicker when you have fun and it was certainly the case this time. I loved every minute of it even it was not easy at times. Long drives, annoying fly's all over the face and mosquitoes made this journey a little challenging but apart from this few things it was totally worth it!

Plans that we made ahead were a key point and even sometimes we needed it to modify them, they made this trip a lot easier. It gave us time for more activities. In my future posts I will bring you a lot more details about our days, but today I will show you few highlights and let you know how we went comparing to what we planned.

In my previous post I was showing you a map with our planned route, but the map below is the one we actually completed. We had to skip the camping in Grampians because Emily and my wife were missing they beds and we decided we will have a separate trip there, once we have more time to properly explore this beautiful area.

Wow, your photos are amazing, especially the scenic flight. The flies in NT are incredible... did you end up wearing one of those hats with the net over your face? When I first saw those, I was thinking there was no way... but after a few days of relentless flies I was more than willing!!!

How did your cuppa tea table work out for you?

Thank you, the flies were in certain places and I had to wear that nethat only twice luckily... there is a limit of how many flies I can have in my mouth and nose :s

The table worked a treat, unfortunately the right strap broke but the table itself is still working, pretty much all our meals where made on it :)

Wow wonderful pictures and beautiful travel, thx for sharing

These are amazing! Australia is so beautiful! Cannot wait to see the rest! Thanks @tomekkk for these stunning photos!
