To Win this Christian Race: You Have to Stay Focused
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. - 2 Timothy 4:7
There seem to be very many distractions in the world today. From our families to friends and the society at large, distractions are abounding. In fact distractions are just everywhere and truth is, they will always be there.

Knowing that distractions will never be eliminated, it then behoves on us to stay away from these dream killers and remain focused on our success race. If you do not consciously avoid distractions, your life will be very miserable, in that, you will never achieve your dreams or reach your goals.
Distractions are one of those things that causes the many failures people have today. It takes a focused person to stay on the track and remain on cause. Starve your distractions!
Stay away from people or things that usually do not support your dreams and visions in life. Anyone not adding value to you, anyone not inspiring you or supporting you is a distraction. Whoever continually gives you reasons to not do something that would add to your life is a distraction. Shun them else they will drag you backward.
In our Christian race, distractions will always come from time to time. People will always try to introduce you to things that glitters on surface but deep inside, is destruction. Satan attempted to distract Jesus after He had fasted for a great while; he introduced and showed Jesus Christ the wealth of this world but Jesus who was vested in the word (or was the word Himself) immediately overcame Him.
Many Christians have derailed, many have backslided because of vain things; the wealth of this world. In a quest to make quick wealth, many have lost their faith. Many have left the faith because of the lust of the eyes and pride of life.
Friends, only those who fix their eyes daily on Jesus Christ will get to reach the finish line and say just Apostle Paul; I have finished the race. With have to consciously close our eyes to what the devil show to us. We have to always guard our heart because that is where it all begins. Once your heart is focused, the moment you become double-minded, you will certainly be unstable in all your ways and you may likely miss the crown of glory.
May this not be our portion as we will determine to stay focused in this Christian race. God bless you
