Why are Kids REALLY protesting across Australia?
Today, young Kids across Australia have taken off a day of school to "protest climate change".
But is that REALLY why they're on our streets instead of in their classrooms?
No. Not even a little bit.
This is not the first time such protests have been planned in Australia. On November 29, 2018, we saw similar protests dubbed "the #ClimateStrike".
When I attended the Melbourne rally that day, three things became crystal clear:
- Kids had no idea what they were protesting, in fact, the adults didn't either.
- The majority of Kids will opt for a day off school, especially to block off roads and scream nonsense. How can you blame them? That's way more fun than sitting in a classroom learning actual science!
- Adults were just using the children to gain mass numbers and attention.
None of which do their cause any justice. Quite the opposite, their entire campaign has lost all legitimacy.
If the organisers want us to take them seriously, they need their attendees to actually know the FACTS about "climate change" and "global warming", and the rallies need to be held outside of school hours.
