From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu 'anhu said, Rasulullah shallallaahu' alaihi wasallam said, "If a man commits adultery then the faith that exists on him comes out of him like a shadow, if he stops then faith returns to him." (Narrated by Abu Dawud and al- Judge). This hadith is validated by al-Hakim above asy-Syaikhain's terms and approved by adz-dzahabi. Hafizh Ibn Hajar menshahihkannya in Fathul Bari
