Zoos-what is wrong with selfish humans?
What is it with humans? Why do we think all life is there for either our consumption or entertainment? Who made us top of the food chain and Gods of this World? The whole meat eating is well documented with a huge move towards veganism for many people, but this subject seems to be one that gets little attention. Zoo's, places like sea World, or generally anywhere humans can go and buy an ice cream and gawp at animals/sealife I'm talking about.
It drives me insane when I see the sadness and frustration of some of these majestic creatures caged up, having grown adults pointing and poking at their cages must be their idea of Hell. Then what do we do when one of them get out of control and frustrated with their situation? That's right, out comes the shot gun and we kill it. Same thing with sharks when there is an attack somewhere, of course the ocean was designed for humans and its our natural home so lets go and kill the shark, it wasn't like we were in its space at all was it?!
The old excuse for this behavior is that some of them are 'endangered' hang on one second WHY are they endangered? It couldn't be those good old humans again looking to poach their ivory, fur, or anything else they can get their hands on to sell could it? Or maybe its our greed to search for resources, logging, cattle farming that may have wiped out their homes?
See people don't think about this, they don't seem to think at all. As long as little Johnny is happy and gets a day out to see the panda's then who gives a fuck right?? Well one day little Johnny will not know of a huge percentage of wildlife because it wont exist! The idea of giving a killer whale a SWIMMING POOL to splash around in when it needs a vast ocean is beyond mental insanity? But hey lets go one step forward and get the poor bastard to perform flips! Then we wonder why it bites the performer who thinks its ok to stand on its nose??
Its just as bad here in Thailand, people come to stroke and pet tigers, of course the poor things are drugged up to the eyeballs so they don't maul the fuck out of the person for being such an idiot. These majestic creatures have been made to look like an embarrassment to the rest of creation. I'm sorry, not sorry if you go to these vile places then you're 100% complicit in their suffering, take little Johnny into a park or if you're that desperate to see exotic animals save up for a trip to the Serengeti, just leave them alone. These places only exist because we turn up and pay, its time to think more consciously about what we consider 'entertainment' put yourself in the animal's position for a change, so many of us say we want freedom or to be free, surely that is the natural desire for everyone including animals!

There are many tree's to bark at , it's hard to see the big picture .
Looking from a wide angle , without considering old writings and text's , we are a species of servant's that lost there master unable to handle real freedom like a free-born lion ,for example, does .
I think " are we human's , or are we cancers " fit's better to the lyrics of that song .
If we are a virus we where made a virus by government religion and law .
It is in our nature to serve , even the one on top of the pyramid serve something .
We al unconsciously , some knowingly , serve the pyramid .
The greed power and wealth must be served to sustain the pyramid .
Time to bend our nature to serve towards peace , make the pyramid collapse ,

The parents, though? What excuse does a grown adult have for this kind of savage behavior? It truly is disgusting. And they do it to members of their own species, too.
Parents take their children to this sick place called a 'circus' where, for a modest fee, they can openly and without social repercussions, make fun of other adults (so called 'clowns') who humiliate and debase themselves for money.
Stomach churning doesn't even begin to describe it.

Recently I got in an argument with my landlord about my "choice" not to neuter my dog. I provided the viewpoint that people make the "choice" to neuter animals, not the other way around. It's not our right.
