Review of The Wedding Party 2- Destination Dubai

For those who are really eager to watch this movie, I will advise that you do not anticipate so much.

The movie as expected is a sequel to Wedding Party (the part 1).

The only thing nice about the movie was that it was made a destination wedding.

It begins in Dubai where a wrong and surprise 'clichéd' proposal occurs between Nonso and his 'Oyibo' girlfriend (Deidre). A proposal of which she accepted.

After the proposal, some side stories were filled in before all roads led to Dubai for the wedding.

Adetomi and Bankole Wellington were made background actors with no specific contribution to the movie.

Ali Baba looked like he didn't go through the memo for his role in the movie.

What I didn't understand was the unnecessary comedians that filled this movie. With this, it was obvious that their intention was to make the movie hilarious (which didn't work for me).

Very loud and annoying Ada Onwuka (Patience Ozokwor), not so funny overacting Frank Donga, Chigirl, Seyi Law, Saka and AY stereotyped the movie and made it look like the usual Nigerian home videos.

The movie centred around the destination and forced comedy rather than love, as Bankole Wellington and Adesuwa had more Chemistry in Part one than between Nonso Onwuka and Deidre.

Thanks for your warning although am not into home videos

Am I the only one that liked it? I know it might have been a bit too dramatic and fake in some parts, but all in all, I laughed and I liked it

Maybe the problem is from me. I think I am the only one who didn't laugh at the cinema🙈

This is nice movie or not???

Somewhere inbetween for me, but the part 1 is wonderful!

I think i will watch the movie to see if it's nice
But it has to be funny for me to like it.

When you do, let me know what you think about it.

Interestingly, i am not even the movie type. But if i were, with this brief narrative of yours, i wouldn't consider seeing it at all. What i admire really is your courage to say how you really feel about it.
Thanks for the info sis.

Thank you but if you see it you may have a different perspective

For me there is nothing to watch in that movie than to chop our money....for this buhari regim kolewerk!!!!!!

Lol! 😂😂😂

Where can I get this movie?

It is showing in cinemas in Nigeria

ok good good.........then I wish I was a Nigerian hahaha

Nollywood of this Era never ceased to amaze me. Their intentions as regards their movies sometimes looks confusing such that the viewers finally get lost.

True that. ☺

I really liked this movie. I still thought it was funny. They can't always be perfect. If you planned on watching this movie, don't let this stop you from doing so. It was still a very good movie

I think it was over acted. Most Nigerians will still find it interesting though
