100 Days on Steemit, made it to 56 rep! I got 8 people to sign up and I'm looking for more users with whom to engage meaningfully. So stop for a spell and say hi!
Here's what I like about steemit, and pictures of dogs I've met on my travels (A couple of them are puppies)...
A.) I've made some steem. All I had to do was explore, be creative, throw spaghetti string posts on the steemit wall and see what sticks, make friends, and have a good time.
B.) It encourages me to write about my travels consistently. I get to record my experiences, express myself to the steemiverse, try to make people laugh, and keep in touch with old friends, family, and new steamer friends.
C. ) I get to meet people I would have never met otherwise. I've met people from countries all over the world, some of whom I'd like to call friends and meet in person someday.
D.) I like the potential steemit.com holds. This is an amazing platform and I arrived in it's infancy, or close to it. It's growing every day. I brought eight people to steemit so far. I tell everyone about it and try my best to explain why it's so awesome.
In the coming days, I'd really like to get some more followers and find people worthy of following. If you're reading my post for the first time, I'm funny, thoughtful, creative, and I'd love it if you start a conversation with me in the reply section (engagement is what makes this place fun)

I've no dogs of my own, I just enjoy other people's dogs. Thanks for coming by, enjoy yourself here, don't get caught up in how many followers or upvotes come your way. I've decided to take pics of all the dogs and cats I meet going around the world and post the pics for every 7 or so of them. Dogs and cats of the world!

Hi ya @sumsum!!! You know before I got to Thailand I was afraid of being bit by one of the dogs here. But every dog I've met had been the most sociable friendly dog around. Thanks so much for taking a look at my page. I see you're into poetry. I was just thinking, I can't think of anything that rhymes with "poetry."

poetry is like a growing tree
a never ending fantasy
at least for me
for all is free
once it´s put in poetry

Hello travelman I used to be a travel woman but my journeys are nearer home right now. It is such a pleasure to read about other's experiences and I happen to like dogs as well (and cats for that matter!) so it's fun to see you enjoying what you do. Hi travelman, No, I didn't manage a round the world trip, I only really started writing on travel because the opportunity arose at the time. The farthest East was Thailand and Singapore and in South America only Mexico, Europe of course, but not the Indian sub continent or Russia. Circumstances sometimes rule what you do in life. I took the opportunity when I could and wished I'd started it younger, but at least I did some and maybe in the future... I'm on Steemit because I was introduced to it by a friend (who isn't on it yet) and because it would allow me to work from home, and maybe get back to rewriting some of my 15 screenplays! So there you have it with a few dramas and excitements in between. Build you - Build me!
I've written four screenplays (years ago) If you scroll back in time on my page, you'll find a post I wrote about my Hollywood days. Sounds like you saw most of the world. I'll be going to India, but not Russia.
