Crazy cool art thing in Paris, and people here get a bad rap.
I don’t know where this was. It was across the river from the louvre, and there was an art exhibition going on there. I could see this from the street, so I went in and took a pic... after waiting five minutes for a group of people who were just hanging out under it deciding where to go to next as me and two others stood waiting for them to move their oblivious asses. Those are buckets on the silver tree...
I run across things like this in this town every twenty minutes! No wonder this place has such a reputation for being full of snoots! The entire city is a museum and they want you to not ever, ever, ever take that lightly! ... But people here have not lived up to that reputation, at least in restaurants, they’re very patient and kind, and somebody saved me from losing my usb cord in a Starbucks today. Respect Paris! ...seriously, it’s ridiculously beautiful... ridiculously!

I’ve noticed that everytime I post, especially now that my rep is 60, I gain a follower or two. They don’t upvote and they don’t comment but a crowd attracts a crowd, I guess.

I enjoyed my time in France in the smaller towns and countryside. The people were amazing.
I’ve come across nice people in stores. Just a bit frustrated with myself for falling back into old habits of not talking to strangers. It’s weird how it’s easier to feel alone in a big western city.
