Determination

Original photo, no filter. This photo was taken on a humid morning during the first week of Spring. In my area we are still getting rain here and there mixed in with some beautiful days filled with sunshine. Flowers like the one you're seeing here are starting to grow strong. What I like about this shot is the way the light green backdrop mixes with the shade of purple the flower shows. The watermarks that are reflecting on the purple petals symbolize hard work, the flower is working hard to grow and prosper in the sun and showing signs of sweat. Blood, sweat and tears trying to be the best it can be because there's no better time than now. I mean, I don't know if that's what the little flower feels but what choice do I have but to put myself in that state of mind, the state of mind of a blooming flower in the middle of a thriving altseason.
