Coinbase Pro is Now Accepting ETH Classic:

"The Coinbase Effect” is a phenomenon than every crypto investor is aware of. Getting listed on Coinbase is like Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket to the Chocolate Factory!

Last Friday, Coinbase announced that they were running some final testing for ETC on their platforms and their goal was to begin accepting transfers for their users by Tuesday, August 7th (that’s today!)

They just tweeted out that their testing went according to their plans and users can now transfer ETC to their trading accounts.

Now, that just means that you can load up ETC to your CB trading account, you can’t yet trade it.

“Transfer ETC immediately to your exchange account, and start trading within the next few days”

Additionally, they said they plan to launch ETC in four stages:

1. Transfer-Only
2. Post-Only
3. Limit-Only
4. Full-Trading Mode

About 1-2 weeks after full-trading begins on Coinbase Pro, they plan to launch ETC on Coinbase.com (which will give it a much broader access point for the average crypto buyer).

UPDATE

CB Just Announced on Twitter that Full-Trading has begun for ETC because of the large volume of traders already. Exciting stuff. Keep cheering for STEEM to get listed!!

I Could Care Less About ETC, This next part is what really excited me:

"One of the most common requests we receive from customers is to be able to trade more assets on our platform. Ethereum Classic is just a first step in that direction. We announced last month that we are exploring a number of other assets to add to the platform, and customers should expect to see similar announcements when we are exploring new assets to add to the platform."

Can you guess what one of those “number of other assets” is? It’s STEEM.

My god, I can only imagine how insane the bull-run would be for STEEM if or should I say when it gets listed on coinbase.
