There has been so much controversy with regards to the HPV Vaccination. Last November in Ireland, The Health Products Regulatory Authority received 1,099 reports of adverse reactions from the HP vaccination with 650 young girls needing medical intervention as a result.

The side effects as reported in The Irish Times

“Other commonly reported symptoms include gastrointestinal symptoms, malaise, headache, dizziness and injection-site reactions,” the Health Products Regulatory Authority said. “Reports of allergic-type reactions, including skin rashes, urticaria and flushing, have also been received, including isolated reports of more severe hypersensitivity-type reactions.

“There have also been some reports describing persisting/chronic fatigue, generally with multiple other symptoms (eg, headache, malaise, drowsiness, nausea, gastrointestinal upset, joint swelling, flu-like illness, menstrual disorders) following vaccination.”

According to the HSE (Health Service Executive) in Ireland, there are no long term affects of Gardasil, even though it has only been licensed since 2006. It always amazes me how they can get away with statements like that when the actual vaccination itself has not been around that long. 12 years is not a long time so how can they say there are no long term side affects.

However this post is about an article that was published in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health Reports , Volume 81, 2018- Issue 14,

A lowered probability of pregnancy in females in the USA aged 25–29 who received a human papillomavirus vaccine injection.

The article discusses how birth rates in America have been falling. In 2007 birth rates per 1000 females aged from 25 to 29 where at 118 and at 2015 were at 105 and that a factor that needs to be investigated is the HP vaccination. An extract from the article states the following

This study analyzed information gathered in National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, which represented 8 million 25-to-29-year-old women residing in the United States between 2007 and 2014. Approximately 60% of women who did not receive the HPV vaccine had been pregnant at least once, whereas only 35% of women who were exposed to the vaccine had conceived. For married women, 75% who did not receive the shot were found to conceive, while only 50% who received the vaccine had ever been pregnant. Using logistic regression to analyze the data, the probability of having been pregnant was estimated for females who received an HPV vaccine compared with females who did not receive the shot. Results suggest that females who received the HPV shot were less likely to have ever been pregnant than women in the same age group who did not receive the shot.

I find this very worrying. I am sure I am not the only one to feel this way.

As with all vaccinations that are being pushed onto the public, those who receive it are more or less guinea pigs, as long term studies are never performed prior to administration of the vaccination. We live in a time where Cancer is on the increase and Cervical Cancer keeps rising, Ireland has one of the highest Cervical Cancer rates in Western Europe. My own sister has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, so writing this article is very personal, this is the vaccination that is meant to protect against the cancer that is causing my sister so much suffering , but at what cost. In that same Article it stated that

Shortly after the vaccine was licensed, several reports of recipients experiencing primary ovarian failure emerged.

Is this the price to pay for something that may or may not work, primary ovarian failure? Bascially women are losing the function of their ovaries before the age of 40.They are losing the ability to have children. The article also discusses how, if 100% of the women in the study had received the vaccination, then the number of women who had conceived would have fallen by 2 million. This is a huge number and again very worrying.

Gayle Delong the author of this article, has requested that further studies into the affect of the HP Vaccination on fertility be performed.

Yet is this going to happen. How many people will actually see read this article, will actually find out about these studies. I found this article because of a friend of mine who is very active in Birth Rights and she helps me to stay informed. As a Doula and a birth advocate I make it my business to stay informed about anything that affects pregnancy and birth.

I have never vaccinated my children, it was a decision that was easy for me to make. I will not be injecting anything into my children's bodies or my own body. Both the HPV vaccinations that are being given world wide contain Aluminium. I believe in living a natural life and I also believe in our bodies ability to heal itself, once it has been nourished and looked after.

However I do believe in people having the right to choose , but how can we make decisions if we do not have all the information. We need to be making Informed Decisions, for ourselves and our children. It is up to us to stay informed and educated. To know exactly what is being promoted, to understand that money comes before our well being. Pharmaceutical companies are there to make a profit, that is there main objective.
