A bit more on our workflow

in #blockchain7 years ago

Lately we've seen a certain interest in how, after all, we distinguish honest players from those who only pretend to be such. Let's try to reveal some of these techniques.
So, the user goes to trueflip.io. At this point, he is assigned a "zero" rating, that is neutral. We still do not know whether we can trust a newcomer. If the user doesn't show any signs of suspicious behaviour, plays for real money and does not look like an obvious assaulter, his rating grows rapidly. Otherwise, the rating falls to negative.

Of course, first we analyze the user's IP. When we see that this user has brought more than 5 referrals with a similar IP, we mark him as suspicious and it gets in sight of the anti-fraud system. This system analyzes our guests on 25 metrics. Here are some of them:

  • the behavior on the site, in particular how long it takes for the visitor to become acquainted with the possibilities of our service. As you understand, a rare genius will need 30-50 seconds for that;
  • We check the referrals' emails for uniqueness, and it's quite easy to determine the signs of their artificial nature;
  • We understand where the referrals come from. We study their social network accounts and see when they were created;
  • Naturally, we use Google captcha (soon we plan to add two-factor authorization);
  • We use cookies data as an additional ID;
  • We've learned to determine the common signs of the so-called "parents" and "kids", if you understand what we mean.

These are not all the "tricks", but please do not be offended for such secrecy. Still, we'd love to stay in control over the security issues of this project. Come on, we'll just show a couple of screenshots that clearly illustrate who we often have to deal with. These are the talks we conduct with people who want to get profit without investing a penny.

All this leads to a noticeable amount of negativity on the related web platforms, which is produced by these people. And not only them alone, but the whole farms of their bots.

We hope that you now have a better understanding of our day-to-day problems.

Subsequently, we will continue the story about TrueFip's workflow, but in the remaining days before the ICO we switch to highlighting this topic - now this is most important.

Ok, some good news now :)

To date, we have more than 2000 followers on TrueFlip's Facebook page and over 550 Slack subscribers.
We've been added to the major ICO agregators:

https://icotracker.net/project/true_flip
https://cointelegraph.com/ico-calendar/true-flip
https://tokenmarket.net/blockch…/…/assets/true-flip-lottery/
https://www.smithandcrown.com

We have regular players who buy up to 50 tickets a day for a draw. Our community grows day by day. More than 2000 people have already left their email addresses on the ICO page. The page has been translated to 3 more languages: Indian, Greek and Japanese. And we’ll expand this list soon!

So you guys feel free to ask any questions and stay tuned tuned for more news!
See you soon :)

Do you plan to have other games, except for the current lottery?

Hi! Yes, we do. The crowdsale will let us further funding the development of 3 more games to add to TrueFlip. That's among our plans for the nearest time.
