Hey everyone!!! I did some reading about steemit and feel that this is a great community to join and contribute to.
I grew up in Arkansas and always loved the wilderness so I would always go out on hikes or enjoy the forest behind my house. That's when I started to pick up on photography to share the beauty of nature and to as well help get people out of their house to enjoy life.

After some time of figuring out my path through watching videos and reading books, my path started to become clearer. A couple books really changed what I wanted to do for the world. How to make this a better place while still having fun!!
2 books that helped changed my course were Eckhart Tolle "The Power Of Now" and "Reinhabiting The Village" By Jamaica Stevens and other authors that have contributed to that book.

I asked myself what could I possibly do to make this world a better place. Well I loved photography and taking videos.. So the more I started reading, the more I found out about organic farms using sustainable practices and intentional communities that already existed. There it was, they already knew the answers of how to live sustainably. So I finally decided to quit my job that was serving the cooperate and put my energy towards volunteering on these farms and traveling to communities. While traveling, I am documenting my journey through photography and videos to share this information to the world to teach others how to live sustainably because I feel this information should be free so we can live a more harmonious and greener life.

Is there a mention of Steemit posted in other social platforms? I think the community would appreciate it, as it's also a way to avoid supporting identity theft.

Nice photos by the way!

Hey Kevin! I was reading the beginners guide when you first sign up to steemit. I wanted to understand more about this community before I put articles up. And they were great. I really liked the fact how it supports everyone in the community even the people that upvote! There is so much more for me to learn and looking forward to sharing more photos! Glad to hear you liked them!!!

Yup, and I was just highlighting the course of action you could take to gain the trust of the community.

Other than that, yup it's still quite a basic site, but its works. It's the future lol, i mean if somebody's gonna spend so much time on social media platforms, they might as well be part of this as well. Hope you enjoy your time around here! Feel free to reach out.

Thank you Kevin for raising an important question about people's intent behind their profile and what they seek in a social media platform like this one. For example, if they do it only for personal gains or to add valuable information to help build a community that supports one another.

I agree that if we are gonna spend so much time on social media, then we could use that energy towards building a better future by spreading knowledge. And thank you for reaching out to me and greeting me to such a unique place. :)

Welcome to the platform, strap in as you are along for a ride. I have just finished up my first month and it has been enlightening. I have theories about hour this site is attracting and cultivating the technological and spiritually inclined. There are some hurdles to being a part of and succeeding in this invironment. I have the impression you will do well and fit in just fine.

Thank you Cody! There is so much more for me to learn about this community. But great things take time and patience. I am going to keep contributing as it really seems like a great platform so far! Congrats on your first month on here! I totally agree with theory as well as like attracts like :). Of course you might run into some shadow sides on here now and then but that is part of life and helps you appreciate your blessings! Thank you for your warm welcome. Much gratitude and sending many blessings to you!

Hello Randall, welcome to Steemit! :-)
(Awesome photographs!)

Thank you so much for the welcome and really means a lot you enjoy my photography! :)

Hi there! You have definitely come to the right place, I've been here nearly eight weeks and have met an extraordinary amount of visionaries (myself included, hence dreemit, or dream it into existence ;)
My husband literally dreamed of an idea that would work perfectly for your current situation, I wish it was up and running now. (The Chlorella project...if you happen upon my blog, I wrote about it ;) Welcome friend, I hope you will find this the great creative outlet that it's been for me!

Thank you for this! Totally replied on your article and feel very connected in a way :) much love!

I liked the most recent video on your YT channel. TIL mycelium and trees have a symbiotic relationship.

Thank you for taking the time to watch that video! Glad to hear you found it interesting. I will continue to keep uploading more informative videos about sustainable living :)

Welcome to Steemit @truexpression! Good to see you here!

Thank you my friend! And good to see you as a part of the community as well

Welcome to Steemit @trueexpression.
I am intrigued to hear more of your story.

Thank you my friend! Really enjoyed your article "Why so serious". I will be posting more for sure :)

Glad you enjoyed it.
Wonderful! :)

I agree with @fulltimegeek Mycelium are very cool and important. They are known as the largest organisms on earth. Very good video presentation. I live in northern Canada and have been involved in food security for many years now. Currently I am in the slow, organic process of establishing a food network in my new area. Oh yes! And it seems like our society is still touching the surface of what fungi can do for our planet!! I can't wait to still publish more about it. I checked out your page and really enjoyed the articles and quotes. I will definitely support your page whenever I can! Thank you for reaching out to me!
P.S I love the part where you say "slow and organic" a resemblance of mother nature herself :)
Like they say "Mother nature never rushed but yet everything is accomplished"
