TRY TO CONVINCE ME

Yes, although I can't speak for everyone I'm only saying this in response to communal reactions to happenings.

Walking out of campus today, I walked past at least 5 different groups of cattle herdsmen each with their respective herds of nothing less than 50 cattles. In the wake of the consistent attack by herdsmen on innocent citizens of our great nation, one might think all herdsmen would have gone into hiding but No! here they are; grazing in the other end of the nation as freely as they would in their own end.

I try to imagine if the reverse has been the case, if herdsmen originated from the south, if they could tread on northern soil with even a quarter the audacity the northerners tread here.

No, I don't think so. In the north where rumours of a murdered Muslim northerner can blaze a Christian settlement to ashes.
History shows they can't make an unsentimented decision free of cultural, religious, gender bias what so ever. It's true this issue abound in the whole of Nigeria but the typical northerner just takes it to a whole other level especially when it has to do with a foreigner.
