Indie Game Spotlight: Ancient Cities
Ancient Cities is a survival strategy city builder that takes place in the Neolithic Age.
In Ancient Cities gameplay will have to handle many aspects of society such as evolving religion, social classes, family dynamics and politics. As you guide your tribe through Neolithic Age you will have to deal with natural disasters and raiders from enemy tribes. The player must also practice resource and population management like all city builder games. One of the coolest features of the game is a simulated ecosystem; plant life and wildlife will live and die as your civilization advances so use your resources carefully
The game is slated for release in late 2018 with no early access or open beta planned. It is being made by Uncasual Games, this is their first release. Ancient Cities is being created on a custom engine made in-house by the developers. The game is currently on Indiegogo so it is available for backing now!
Wow, it looks interesting ! I'm not usually into city builders but this one got me into it with the Neolithic Age and the migration aspect. Thanks for sharing !
No problem man, they are even planning to extend it into the bronze age and beyond if they get the funds from their campaign.
