Lunch break antics and killing time

Sometimes killing an hour on my lunch break is more of an annoyance than a privilege. On days like today, where I’ve already scarfed down my food (thanks to running out the door late, and skipping breakfast) I’m left with the question...What should I do?

It’s much too chilly for a walk on the beach today...Mother nature has decided to be a trickster this year. I’m not sure if it’s Spring or Winter!

Of course I could always browse through social media...but honestly, on days as slow as today...I can do that on the clock!
I could go out shopping and buy clothes that I have no time to try on (and really...no excess means to be paying for) Or I can come up with something else!

I just so happened to remember that I had been meaning to hit up our local Toys’r’us...since they’re closing and everything is on clearance...I thought pehaps I could stock some things away for Christmas or Birthdays! I never get a head start and it would be nice to have stuff on hand...instead of last minute shopping.

Boy was i disappointed! I’m not sure the exact date of the store closing...but you would think the sales would be a little more significant than 10%!

Not only was the sale...for lack of a better word, lame...but items were already picked over!

The Ben 10 section has no toys that the boys don’t already have! It was quite a bummer...it was also sad seeing the wall and aisles barren...

So after wasting some time there...I scooted over to Target! I love that place! It’s like a suburban mom haven! Lol. You can grab a coffee and walk around...and they have basically everything! It’s a much nicer shopping experience than those other...larger...establishments!

They had some Ben 10 stuff...not on sale...so, i decided to hold off.

In the end, I spent the whole hour “shopping”, and only managed to buy a pack of gum and a soda! Hey, at least I found something to do!
