Al Munawwarah Mosque
I was on my way to Banda Aceh that morning. The weather was calm, the sky was clear, and the road felt peaceful. However, I already knew that a traffic jam was waiting ahead, especially near the Kutablang bridge after the recent flood. Cars usually slow down there, and sometimes the queue can be very long. So before facing the traffic, I decided to make a short but meaningful stop.
Not far from the road, I saw Al Munawwarah Mosque in Teupian Murni, Gandapura. The location was perfect for travelers like me. I needed to use the restroom, refresh myself, and take a short break before continuing the journey. Without hesitation, I turned in and parked my vehicle. From the outside, the mosque already looked calm and welcoming.
Ablution Area
The first place I visited was the ablution area. It was clean, spacious, and well-organized. The water flowed smoothly, and everything felt comfortable. This simple facility really matters, especially for travelers who need a quick but proper place to prepare for prayer. I truly appreciated how well the area was maintained.
Front View
After that, I entered the mosque to perform two rakaat of Dhuha prayer. Inside, the atmosphere was very peaceful. The floor was shiny and clean, the pillars were beautifully designed, and natural light came in softly from the sides. It was quiet, cool, and very calming. The moment I stood for prayer, all the tiredness from the road slowly disappeared.

The mihrab area was simple but elegant. It gave a strong sense of focus and humility. I also noticed shelves with Qur’an neatly arranged along the wall, making it easy for anyone who wanted to read or reflect after prayer. Everything inside the mosque felt organized and respectful, creating a space that truly supports worship.

Tower
Outside, the mosque tower stood tall and graceful. From the front view, the building looked majestic but not overwhelming. Trees around the mosque added a natural touch, making the area feel even more relaxing. It is not only a place of worship but also a perfect resting point for travelers passing through Gandapura.

This short stop turned out to be one of the best decisions on my journey. Before facing the traffic jam ahead, I had time to refresh my body, calm my mind, and reconnect spiritually. Al Munawwarah Mosque is not just a mosque; it is a peaceful shelter for anyone on the road.
After finishing my prayer and taking a short rest, I continued my trip to Banda Aceh with a lighter heart and a clearer mind. Insya Allah, if I pass this road again, I will definitely stop here once more. A beautiful mosque, a strategic location, and a truly calming experience, highly recommended for travelers.
