My Steem solar/electricals diary: Day 1&2 [6th -7th May, 2024]
Hi there,
It's been a busy week for me. Somedays, I asked for more hours because they are not enough..., but what do I know? I can't change that, I think, it's just nature.
Steem solar and electricals is on a move to become a reality. And this is to inform the donors/ supporters that few days ago, Steem solar shop was paid for here in Uyo.
The shop is on the major road side and the heart of the city.
The rent would cover for two years as it has already been mentioned on Steem electricals official account.
The shop was formerly a saloon and a tailoring shop used by a couple. The wife is a hairdresser while the husband is a tailor.
As at on Monday 6th May, 2024 when I paid for the shop, their belongings were still inside.
So, I asked them to remove everything as their time has expired. Well, they did and the shop was free.
I didn't do much that day. But I invited a welder to come and inspect the place so as to know the measurements of the protectors that can be use.
By the way, it is very important to consider the security aspect of your business environe and as such, this place wasn't exceptional considering the kind of business that would be carried out there.
The welder measured the shop length and all the necessary measurements. It was there I appreciate the essence of all the measurements we learnt at high school back then 😀. Everything was live and direct and it was so real like we learnt.
Measurement is very important especially in crafty skills.
After the measurement, we went to the timber market to buy some iron for the protector. We bought about 52 pieces of angle iron for this job.
When we returned, we opened some holes close to the ceiling position. This is to aid hold the frames of the protectors which would be installed at the ceiling level.
We stopped there for Monday and retire to our varrious homes.
I was just supervising, I wasn't working for real 😀
On Tuesday- 7th May, 2024
On this day, we started by fixing the protectors frame at the ceiling
After which he chiseled the outside so that it would be easy to install the protectors outside as well.
We later left there by 8:30pm. It sounds easy to summarize this, but it was a stressfull day because we did other internal jobs in the shop.
Where did I get all these funds?
Last year, I encountered a seriouse issue that I don't feel comfortable talking about it here. As a result of this, I had to take huge amount of money from my Steem account to get the solution. The matter was settled and my world later had some peace. Interestingly, the matter was settled without my fund and so, my fund was saved.
However, I reasoned that it would be wise to make good use of that fund and the thought of my dream business/ profession came in - "STEEM solar & Electricals" . So, I am using my fund for this.
Next task in the shop for tomorrow (9th May, 2024)
The shop would be fixed with protectors by tomorrow. The protectors would cover:
The ceiling
andOutside the shop
This is to secure the goods. The previous securing facilities was not to my own satisfaction, so I need to put it in order.
So far so good, this is what I have been busy with on Monday and Tuesday.
Steem solar & Electricals is like 70% to the finishing line.
Let's see what Steem would make this place to look like in few days time....

You in particular should not constantly justify the whereabouts of your assets. Is there anything more making sense than using STEEM to secure your own existence through honest work?

We talked to you once that you were planning to start some kind of business in real life, but it exceeded all my expectations. You chose a good moment. There are at least a few months of a bull market ahead, so SBDs will be paid out during this period. I think it will help you realize your idea.
Now, all those one year plans would be a reality now.
Hopefully, everything would be fixed soon.
I would now use the bull market to actualize school solar projects around Africa.
How much good can one caring person do for his country! Imagine, you will raise the quality of education, children will get better knowledge and someday apply it for the benefit of their families and their country. It is worth noting that you are inspiring 🙂

It is my hope and wish that nothing stops a child from learning the basic computer knowledge..., with solar electricity in their school, all of them would be fully train on how to use computer.
