Greetings friends,

We had our second week with few activities and we were impressed by the effort some of our students put in other to participate in the electronics tasks.

The week was a bit weak,we noticed that most students don't have a multimeter, or some of the common components, that's a shame.

Good efforts are also commended. People who don't have , made effort to either borrow or buy. Maybe, borrow could have been much better. The task needed a multimeter and we wouldn't have compromise because students don't have.

It's electronic and those components and tools are paramount. Electronics isn't "an essay" writing competition, it's more of practicals and practical applications.

Those who wanted to participate and did not have multimeters should have looked for it more in advance and not left everything to the last minute.

We want to thank the students who took time to participate in the Electronic Academy second lesson and the assignment.

Highlights

  • During our last week activities, we had some good responses from the students. However, we also took time to read all the entries or assignment perse.

  • All assignments were checked and proper guidelines were also provided to the students. We believe this would help the student to become better in this field.

  • We had a total of 5 assignment submitted by 5 students. That wasn't as expected though, but we move forward regardless.

  • There were some interesting interaction among the students in the second week, and that's commendable

  • We noticed students submitting their assignment at the last minute. This idea isn't a good idea for us as this could create conflict. You have the entire week, use it for your task, avoid the last minute with unnecessary arguments.

BEST PICK OF THE WEEK

Link: Electronic component measurement and measuring instruments

It is one thing to do something, it is anything to be devoted to it. This user has showed his great stand when it comes to electronics. He clearly followed and execute all the tasks as requested from the Academy. His approach to each task were neat and properly handled. Hopefully, this could be a great example for other students to follow

Though this user didn't get the needed components at hand, he showed great interest by substituting the available alternatives without making excuses. Not everyone knows electronics, but the interest to learn it...is also highly commendable.***.

The student completed an orderly task, easy to read, easy to understand and demonstrated mastery of the topic covered. He took into account personal safety and that of his measuring instrument for his measurements. Despite not having a capacitor, it did the charge-discharge check of the capacitor, a method used to rule out possible serious damage to a capacitor.

We are set for the new week, c'mon guys let's catch some fun playing around electronics class

Thank you.
