HOW MY LIFE CHANGED🔥[A true life story of a great man👤]

Today guys I'll write about a short story of man who is great example to others. The life of this great man is a product of who he met many years ago.

HOW MY LIFE CHANGED(A story of Dr. D. K.O OLUKOYA)

He came from a poor home. In his family the rate of poverty was alarming, it was bad that even feeding was a problem.

He got an admission into the university. Back then the school fees was only sixty naira(N60) roughly $0.150cents yet his parents could not afford this amount of money. Anyway, He struggled through his time in the university but favoured, He eentually emerged with a first class honours.

Growing in life, he was questioned by a lot of people on the next stage of his dreams(what he wanted to do next in life). All the options brought to him were desirable but the family was financially incapacitated and couldn't care for his needs and wants, so pursuing a higher degree seemed abortive.

Then a opportunity surfaced itself in the newspaper, it was a advert about the commonwealth scholarships for students who wanted to study abroad. He quickly went and got the form needed, filled it and submitted it. The submission of the form had a strange scenario, it generated its own memorable testimony.

On the day of submitting the filled form, getting to to door of the scholarship office, he met a man who asked him what he came to do, He told the man that he was here to submit the commonwealth scholarship forms and the reply that came out from this man's mouth was a bad news, the man said sorry, the submission for the commonwealth scholarship forms had closed two months earlier.
The news hit him with shock, demoralised and stood dejected at the door of the office transfixed, in utter despair.

All of a sudden, at that point, a clerk came out from the office with the intention of buying his boss breakfast. The man asked him, what he was doing standing outside the front door. In the spirit of losing hope he said that he came to submit his commonwealth scholarship form but realised that the submission date was closed two months earlier.

Nevertheless, the clerk asked for the name of the university he attended and class of degree he had, which he immediately told the clerk. The man who was on his way to buy his boss breakfast told him to wait outside for him, that he would go and speak with his boss on his behalf. He did not know what he discussed with his boss but he was later called into the boss office.

The boss told him that really, the submission for the form had closed and the candidates who were selected had already been shortlisted for interview.

He(the boss) said he was going change his mind because the clerk told him that he was his blood brother! He then asked that his form be put in the shortlisted file with those for the scholarship award. That was how he got a commonwealth scholarship in 1979 to study MOLECULAR GENETICS AT THE PH.D LEVEL

The moral lesson here is that who you meet or miss will determine a lot of things in your destiny.

Very well-written post, Udezee. :) Nicely formatted too. The title is a bit strange compared to the content lol. I gave you my tiny upvote.
