DIY is a great way of enhancing our creative and acquire new skills. Today I will be sharing easy steps of drawing a dog.

Dogs are domestic animal that most people love having at home. Some people have dogs as security while some as pets.

Let follow along as I am going to draw my dog in today's DIY contest.

Step 1
I got a sheet of paper and write my user name and I also get my drawing materials ready which were:

A4 paper 📜
Hb pencil ✏️
Eraser
Etc

Here you can see my user name on a plan sheet of paper ready for work.

Step 2

Here in this step, I started with the head and put some the ears and also create some shapes on the head.

This is all for step 2, let see the next step.

Step 3
In this step I sketched out the whole body, continuing from the head where I stopped in step 2. I drew the neck, hands, legs and also sketching all part of the body.

I made a bit lighter in case there is a corrections that need to be erased.

Here is the light sketching of the dog.

Step 4
After the lighter sketching, I added more life to the drawing by making it bolder.

Here I highlighted the eyes area, the tongue, the nose and the rest of the body to form a better and visible shape.

Step 5

Here is the step for shading to give the dog a real look.
I used the pencil to form some furs and thicken the area that needed that and lighten the area that I don't want much furs.

I believe you have notice that the dog at this step doesn't have a tail.

Step 6
Here you can see that the dog is fully drawn with it's fine hairy tail curved upward.
