I always find them overpriced here and not the standard I grew up eating in sub-tropical kwaZulu. I only once found very good avos being sold (at a very reasonable price too) on the street near DongSeoul bus terminal. I ate avos for a week! Yea ;-)
Haha I guess I don't have that problem because I never tried avocados before coming to Korea :D Sadly, DongSeoul bus terminal is on the opposite side of where I live but I will check it out if I'm nearby, thanks for the tip! :)
Sure. I have started seeing them sold in stores already, but the best would start appearing around June until mid-autumn. I discovered that vendor as i happened to be traveling down south during the summer.
Southern Africa yields three varieties of avocados - larger, softer and much tastier. We generally don't need to place ours in a microwave to take away the crunchiness ;-)
