Missing In Virginia: Have you seen Theodoric Elton Hunter Sr "Theo"?
This is one of the more recent cases on my Virginia list and I wanted to put it up before I left for work this morning.
Mr Hunter was 49 years old when he was last seen on August 24th 2019, he was reported missing on August 27th after failing to show up two days in a row where he worked, at a Norfolk Virginia container shipping terminal. Around the time that he disappeared both his cell phones started going straight to voicemail and just a while later both turned completely off and couldn't be tracked.
At this time Mr Hunter stopped responding to Facebook and text messages his phone activity and banking activity ceased.
His car a black 2019 Nissan Altima license plate UYY-5688 is also nowhere to be found, and his license plate was last picked up on a state license reader at 3:00 a.m. on August 25th heading south of the Monitor Merrimac Memorial bridge tunnel.
Detectives say that Mr Hunter is an adult and it is his right not to contact anyone if he chooses but Hampton Police have asked the public for help in finding him.
I'm providing a couple different links. One of them has interviews with a couple of his exes one of them is the mother of his adult sons, his current wife, and another ex. The current wife let's on that they were also about to split up. Just reading her interview was very interesting, that's to say the least, she seems like quite the character. It also seems like the house they shared on Hollywood Ave was the last place he was seen. She made statements that he "kept secrets", "kept her in the dark" and hardly let her meet his family.
His adult sons and their mother do not believe he left on his own. He'd been in there life always, and were very close.
