Correction On Wearing Another Person's shoes
We say and hear statements like, "the shoes he left behind, no one can fit into them." Or telling another person directly or indirectly, "the shoes your father (or mother or whoever ) left behind is big o, you need to brace up to fit in."
Really!!
Let us all be corrected.
Nobody is created to fill anyone's shoes.
We all were given shoes to fill here on earth. The day you die you carry your shoe with you.
You are wearing your shoe, I am wearing mine. We won't leave it for another person to fit in or wear.
Imagine!
Did Solomon come to fit into David's shoes? Never! It couldn't happen.
Everyone's shoe is specially made for them - customised according to your assignment.
Between you and God you'd know if you filled your shoes alright or if you wore it as an oversize till death.
So don't pressure another person with him being able to fit into his predecessor's shoes.
And you don't pressure yourself into trying to fit into another person's shoes
Wear your own shoe. Wear it till it fits. Don't return to God still wearing it as oversize. Nobody will wear it for you.
