You served a man that sold electrical appliances for nine years, and the agreement was that at the expiration of your apprenticeship your oga would settle you "if you served him diligently".
You served him faithfully. Heaven knows you did.

But then, luck was not on your side. On the tenth month of the ninth year, your oga's shop got burnt and nothing was picked out from it.

Your oga was stranded your hope shattered, you've been able to save just fifty thousand naira.
After staying at home for two weeks you realized that the money decreased everyday, unlike before, you now buy your food and other essentials.

You had a friend called Musa. Musa is a short dark fellow from Akwa Ibom who got the nickname Musa because of his unusual dark complexion. He helped you talk to his oga and you were soon encrypted to serve as a conductor in their timber and trailer business. Each day, you all go to the interior parts of the country cutting down trees and selling them to the timber processing companies.

The pay was so little yet you worked under rain and sunshine.
You met Tolu, a very beautiful girl who was proportioned at the right places. Tolu caught your attention in church because of her melodious voice.

With time, you got to know that Tolu was a successful woman who had boutiques in all parts of Lagos. You both got close because you are smart and reasons like someone much older than you.

One day you narrated your story. She sympathized with you and the months after that led to some intimate moments.
One day she gave you a cheque of one million naira for business. You rejoiced, danced around and promised to pay back every dime. She said she trusted you because you are responsible and would multiply the money ten fold. She however made you sign a document on which is written "I WILL PAY AFTER TWO YEARS UNLESS FORGIVEN OF THE DEBT.

You both looked around for a shop. You saw one - a moderate sized shop - paid for it and stocked your shop with electrical appliances. Your shop was rightly positioned and customers trooped in like flies. Things moved smoothly once again.

You and Tolu became closer than Romeo and Juliet. You both planned your future together and made plans of getting married in a year or two.

However,
After three years, you met Amaka - your landlord's daughter who was in her final year at the university of Nigeria Nsukka. She was beautiful and humble . You never knew your landlord had a child that beautiful. You both loved each other.
