Hello great steemians

Today I just want to talk about how my gifts have paved way for me on steemit and in the outside world.Enjoy some of my beautiful drawings while reading through this publication😊

Apart from eating and sleeping, another good thing I am perfectly good at is making art. Art has been a passion for a very long time and I can proudly say that I have been drawing since my mother's womb🤣.

I mean she tells me story of how I used to draw objects whenever I find any writing tool. She told me of the first day I made art and from what she told me, it was few days after I started talking. She also told me how I would not eat because I would want to finish up a drawing before eating(i.e if I am currently making a drawing).

Drawing is a gift I value so much and I am not sure of giving it up anytime soon. I have made lots of progress in steemit here and also outside of steemit with my drawings and the places I have been and the connects I have had all came from this valuable gift. Did I mention that I graduated from college with a degree in physics? Funny right? I can’t tell where I kept that certificate and I am not sure of looking for it anytime soon. I am even considering having a certificate in art not too late right? I will surely do.

How my art evolved
My love for art grew immensely when I was in my second year in nursery school as I saw my classmates draw movies on note books. This got my attention so much that I had to borrow one of this books to practice making such arts too. I tried and tried and was finally able to draw movies too and My favourite back then was terminator.

We had a clique of artist then and we would challenge ourselves to make different kinds of art and It was always fun. But something else happened which boosted my love for art to the apex. I went with my Dad to visit his brother and on reaching there I met his son drawing. I never knew he was good at drawing. I met him drawing Bible characters from “the book of my bible stories" and It got my attention; I mean he did it so well that I wished I could draw like him
I came back motivated and inspired so I borrowed the book from a friend and drew virtually everything that was there in the book. I was so pleased with myself yea!! I was fulfilled. And since then, I decided to be a force to reckon with in the aspect of art.

I have made lots of progress since then as an artist, but if you noticed, I do lots of pencil drawings, that is because I saw a pencil drawing that changed my life in high school and I promised myself to get even more better at it. I can paint but drawing is what I love most and I @davosimple, @Utibeoeffiongart and @paulyoung met over the weekend to discuss how we can give back to steem as a way of appreciation so we came up with the idea to have classes with people who are eager to learn art expose them to the little we know about art. This is our own way of saying thank you

And we met too with some artists to discuss about steem and make them see reasons to join the steem community. They all agreed to be a part of the community and Soon we will be seeing their posts.

I did talk about the progress I have made with art; now here is one. The Vice president of Nigeria clapping for me!! This night was one momentous night for me because I never believed I could stand before a president. But thanks to art it happened.
