Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 12th August, 2024

Last week was a great week, but in all the greatness, my best day happen to be on the 10th which was a Saturday.

This Saturday was nothing a normal Saturday of washing, or exercising, or being a wedding guest. It was a Saturday of being supportive and showing up for a loved colleague and friend who would no doubt do same for me.

What made Saturday my best day

What made Saturday a best day was attending an amazing event I with my colleagues and friends.

This event was different from the usual event we attend as an agency, it was the burial ceremony of the granddad of one of our colleagues so this meant more to me and everyone.

Attending the event, we all planned to intentionally do our best because she has always been and is a very supportive friend and colleague to everyone and the agency as a whole.
Asides doing our best, we also ensured we looked our best as well in order to give her event a good look.

Saturday was also one of the my best day this week because asides being there for a friend, I also got to spend it with friends. We cracked jokes, laughed together, ate together, and took pictures for keeping memories of course. This feeling, the feeling of having friends around to love, support, and laugh with was great and made the day a very good one irrespective of the event at hand.

At the end of the the event, we made several videos together dancing, singing, and jokingly taunting each other. That day was also the birthday of one of our colleagues, with regards to this, we also made a video with the popular, "I'm not the birthday boy, I'm the birthday boy's ....." line. This made him happy and us, happy aas well.

Saturday was not only the best day of last week, it was also one of the best group works I've gone for in a while.
