In your opinion, what criteria should be considered when selecting individuals to serve on a selection panel?

When picking members for a selection panel, you need to make sure they are fair, experienced, and trust worth, here are some of the key things to look for:-

Knowledge and Skills :– They should understand the topic well, for example, if the panel is choosing a new doctor, medical experts should be on it.

Fairness :– They should not favor anyone, If a panelist knows a candidate, they should step aside to avoid bias.

Different Views :– A mix of men, women, young, old, and people from different jobs helps make better decisions.

Good Judgment :– They should be able to compare options and pick the best one.

Clear Communication :– They must explain their choices in a way everyone can understand.

Honesty :– They should not lie or take
bribes to influence the decision.

Checking a person’s past is very important because it helps avoid problems.

Example:
If a school hires a teacher without checking their background, they might later find out the teacher was fired for their bad behavior, a simple background check could have prevented this.

Reasons Background Checks Matter:
Safety :– Stops dangerous people from getting jobs where they can harm others.

Trust :– Ensures the person is who they say they are.

Legal Protection :– Some jobs like banking or childcare require background checks by law.

Which qualities would you glance at while selecting anyone? Explain!

When choosing someone for a job or panel, check these qualities:

Skills :– do they have the right training and a well experience service

Dependability :– Can they finish work on time without constant supervision

Flexibility :– Can they adjust when things is being change

Teamwork :– Do they work well with others
Good Character :– Are they honest and respectful

Why These Matter:
A skilled worker who lies can cause big problems to the community of their company and also a team player helps others succeed, while a selfish person can ruin teamwork.
