Death is inevitable. When it knocks, one must surely answer. Some answers at a very tender age while some answers at old age.Papa answered his at old age at exactly 105 years and it was a celebration of a life well lived here on planet earth.
I, my kids, mom, cousin and mom's friend arrived Ibiono Ibom for the funeral service of Late Chief Sunday Ekereke Akpan successfully.
This was me inside the presbyterian church were the funeral service was conducted.
The service came to an end. Here, procession to the grave yard began. The choir people led the procession.
Followed by the children, the corpse, the brass band, families and friends, distinguished guests.
After the man was lowered to 6 fit beneath (mother earth), entertainment took place. Since it was celebration of life well spent on earth, there was enough to eat and drink.
After the entertainment, I handed over an envelope well packaged just for her and returned to my based.
I pray for @everyone reading this post may we live long and even longer than how late chief lived. May we not die untimely death. May we live to eat the fruits of our labour. May we live to see our children's children, great grand children and more.
