DON'T LOSE IN YOUR MIND

2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Twelve young men were sent for a feasibility study and spiritual mapping of a land that God had already given to them. They access to the land, had a feel of the natural resources there just as God told them, yet, inferiority complex won’t let ten (10) of them see themselves as potential occupants of that land. They were losers in their minds. On returning, their assessment read thus:
“…We entered the land you sent us to explore, and it is indeed a bountiful country—a land flowing with milk and honey. Here is the kind of fruit it produces. But the people living there are powerful, and their towns are large and fortified. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak! The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country...” Numbers 13: 27-29, NLT)

TRUTH #1
The measure of our physical prosperity is dependent on the prosperity of our souls
Even our health cannot thrive beyond the limits we placed in our minds. What we breed in our mind are critical to what we’ll produce. In Philippians 4:8, we are admonished thus:

“whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things”.

TRUTH #2
A positive-minded word will always bring calm in the midst of turmoil
Caleb knew this and his report which quieted the people went thus:
“Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!” (Numbers 13: 30, NLT)

Only Caleb and Joshua made it to the promised land because they WON IN THEIR MINDS

It’s no wonder that the Book of Wisdom tells us to guard our hearts above all else, because what we allow to take root in our hearts will determine the course of our lives!

If you’ve not been experiencing success in a certain area, check what you’ve been believing about that area or about yourself in relation to that area. Ask the Lord to reveal any erroneous belief to you and ask Him to help you replace it with the truth of His Word.

Beloved, fill your heart with only what’s pure and true from the Lord. Keep His words in the midst of your heart and uppermost in your mind. They will be life and health to your soul and entire body!
