HEART CHURCH: Let Brotherly Love Continue
Over the past few days, I have not been really active in this community of love and freedom for some few reasons. I am glad to return and be more involving to support our @Darlenys01 in getting the giant strides for this great community accomplished. Glad to see the developments around our community and I'm sure this would surge more engagement among our members.
We are one big family and the essence of the family is best expressed in collaboration and mutual support. We remember that Bible records that one shall chase a thousand and two, ten thousands. There is a geometric multiplier effect when the members of a community all agree to put their hands on deck to move their community forward. This is what is expected in our @Heartchurch community.
We are s special people in the blockchain because of what drives us - Love. Our Lord Jesus being a perfect example of love personified has taught us how to sacrifice for the sake of others. To serve rather than being served; to give rather than receiving. Some of us would assert to @Sirknight's frequent quote of "_it is more blessed to give then to receive".
Happiness is about helping and serving others, and that is a community.
reading above from the last update of the community. In reality, it would not be an easy task to do but when we remember the love of Christ Jesus first, and the call to love one another, then all we have to do is obey.
My wish is to build a resilient community that has its own capacities to learn and improve. We can not expect to have a fortune to undertake, to dare, so it is not built, you have to put your hand on the plow and the rest will come in addition, everything has its time: there is a time to sow and a time to collect what is planted, and now is the time for heart work. - @Heartchurch
The words above is a call to commitment to serve the course of the community and our brothers at large. All the activities marked are not of compulsion but for a display of love and concern for our community.
Let me end this blog by sharing the 6 verses of Hebrews 13 (KJV):
Let brotherly love continue.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Love calls for sacrifice and these means we seeking the good of others over ourselves. It is time to rise from the need for convenience to giving up ourselves to the building of God's house. After all has been done in love, we would be bold to say that God has been our helper.
Remember that God has given a promise to be with us. He will not forsake us. He'll be with us to the end.
