my dsound / THE VACHE MORTE BRASS ENSEMBLE
I composed this track yesterday and due to popular demand I reinvited The Vache Morte Brass Ensemble for a recording session in my studio to perform my piece. I will be honest Brass was not really my thing. I wanted to compose for everything but brass ensembles. Of course I am a big fan of jazz and I almost know each note of Miles Davis' catalogue. I was not digging it, considering myself somewhat of a strings guy but I heard groups like Moon Hooch and also The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble and I flipped 180 degrees and wanted to compose for brass ensemble straight up. I am quite pleased at this point to announce that I would have enough pieces to release a full album in this specific genre. Stay tuned for that, but for now listen to the latest from The Vache Morte Ensemble.

Thanks brother. A brass ensemble album is just a concept for now but I do contemplate the idea.
