Marketing keep expanding in various ways we can ever imagine and people are really finding ways to join the moving train, engage with a niche and earn a lot through this opportunity. The way people now promote their business and brand, and along the way give commission to those helping them in promoting it. Today I will love to discuss one form of marketing we all engage in without knowing. It took me time to really understand have been practicing affiliate marketing, I still remember back that I do refer people a lot to register or buy some products and along the way I will receive commission when this people do what I ask them to do. I really earn a lot then and you can also, let discuss today topic, it is all about Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing Is About What Exactly?

Many people have been asking me a lot of question lately and most of it is about affiliate marketing, I think it is time for you to know some details about it. in my own simple way, affiliate marketing is the act of selling a product or advertising a brand and you receive commission for it. In this aspect , you act as an affiliate agent who help the affiliate merchant to advertise and sell their products, it can be anything and you receive a certain percentage as commission based on your sales.

Most times the merchant or the product owner don’t really have audience at all and you help them in these aspects, back in the olden days, I mean the traditional way, you just meet people physically and give the word to word discussion about what the product is all about, I vividly remember back them around 2009, some people were promoting some product from one house to another, it was really stressful back them because they might even make enough sales then and there is no chance for people to be able to locate what they are really promoting. Thing is now easier now because everything is done online, all they need is to click a link you provided after reading the content and they have interest in it, then they will be directed to the website through your link, purchase the product and you earn your own commission.

There are actually three or four parties which are really involved in this type of marketing which include

• The Producer

The Producer is mainly the product creator who own the product you will be selling and most time they don’t have audience or market their product themselves.

• Affiliate Network

This aspect is not really important in the system, at times some producer meet their affiliate marketers directly and talk to them. Affiliate Network always serve as intermediary between the producer and the affiliate marketer

• Affiliate Marketer

You serve as the marketer, you will be in charge of advertising the product to lot of audience through content creating, ads and others and you will encourage them to purchase the products.

• Final Consumer

This is the audience you are promoting the products to, once they read your review about the product you are promoting and they have interest in it, they click your affiliate links and go to the site and purchase the product you advertise, when they do that, you will always earn your own commission.

Some people always have this thinking that while should I work for people or help them to advertise their products when I can easily create a product and allow people to market for me. To me acting as an affiliate marketer is somehow easier that been a product owner, you can just create a product on your own without it having values or benefit to the final consumer, Never. To create a product, you have to make a lot of research to know people interest, what they want and how they want it, you even have to start planning, drafting and even experiment what you are producing. The great features is what will draw the attention of the final consumer through the marketers.

Acting as a producer instead of a marketer have more risk involve, you have to invest a lot both money and time, but in a marketer aspect, you only need to strategize and plan on how to promote this product and you can even promote more product if you want.
